Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: July 12, 2026

At Automate Freely, you are always in control of your data. This page explains how to disconnect your Instagram or Facebook account from AutomateFreely and permanently delete the data we hold about you.

How to request deletion of your data

  1. 1

    Send us a deletion request

Email us at hello@automatefreely.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Include the Instagram/Facebook username or account you connected so we can locate your data.

  2. 2

    We verify your request

To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm your identity or ownership of the connected account before processing the deletion.

  3. 3

We revoke access and delete your data

Once verified, we disconnect your Facebook/Instagram account, revoke the access tokens issued through Meta's APIs, and permanently delete the associated data from our servers.

  4. 4

    You receive confirmation

We complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request and send you a confirmation once your data has been removed.

Quick request

Email hello@automatefreely.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and we'll take care of the rest.

What gets deleted

When we process your request, we permanently remove:

  • Access tokens issued through Meta's APIs (these are revoked so we can no longer access your account).
  • Your profile and account information stored by the Service.
  • Any content, messages, and comments we stored to operate your automations.
  • Configuration and settings associated with your connected accounts.

Note: deleting your data from AutomateFreely does not delete anything from your Facebook or Instagram account itself. To manage or remove app permissions on Meta's side, visit your Facebook or Instagram account settings under "Apps and Websites."
